This guys won me by 50% how could i lost >.<
he got 35paladin 1elf 2goblin and me only have 34paladin and 2goblin

um dont try to calculate the win and lost margin ..
to win you need to get only 50% down.. so if you and he has the same amount of army.. and if he is attacking it is likely that he will win and you will lose.. you can win again slightly better opponents also.. in order to win while defending you have to be quite better than your opponent..

also regarding 2500 crystals.. like aquila said.. you will need crystals when upgrading to tauren ..
even otherwise use the 2500 crystals only wen they have "double cauldron" weekend .. more chance of getting better gear

Erm now upgrade the royal palace to level 10 to unlock tauren if can i will get tauren before level 35.

I always was useing my highest lvl item as a base... i´ll try with a low level base item next upgrade.

Just see one problem...
I´ll lost all purple star and orange items, so, don´t see if it´s worthy, now i´ve got a +44,7% off bonus.
I´m lvl 40, so can use the treasure chest to get blue star-purple items, shall i use it, and power this low level item (35-40) with 4x60lvl items?.

Anyone know drop chance for purples on treasure chest?

Charly, it is really a problem, with troop attribute. So, if you dont want to loose it, there are two ways. First, get four pieces of 95 level and to evolve them with your equiped gear with high troop attribute. Second, to make one gear with level 115, for example, to finish power it up, and then evolve with gear of orange or orange with star as a base. I choose second way. With high level equipped gear you gain very high GS at once.

ok Aquila... also, i´been doing some trials, just for all to know.

tests with:
base item: armor lvl 5: evolved with armors lvl 71+ 60 + 60+58 = u get armor lvl 105
base item: armor lvl 10: evolved with armors lvl 71+ 60 + 60+58 = u get armor lvl 102
base item: armor lvl 36, evolved with armors lvl 71+ 60 + 60+58 = u get armor lvl 91
base item: armor lvl 48: evolved with armors lvl 71+ 60 + 60+58 = u get armor lvl 89
base item: purple star armor lvl 71: evolved with armors lvl 71+ 60 + 60+48 = u get armor lvl 86, so even if my purple star armor gaves me a +7,6% attack bonus (my total attack bonust 96.000, that means a neto bonus of 7.296) it´s worthy to get a lvl 105 armor with only a +1,9% attack bonus.

As a result:
lower is the base item lvl --> higher is the final lvl item
as the base item lvl is going up, less is the difference, so, as Aquila say´s, u can use a 5 lvl base item to evolve a 105 lvl item, and afther it, use this 105 item to evolve a 30-40 lvl orange base item to get a may be 110-115 orange-purple item.

I gess we can use lvl 40 treasure chetss, to get low level purple. I´ll do some trials along a week, just to get some drop chances and will post it here.... if some one could help me to get a more accurate drop chances, will appreciate if he can post here the results too, just post the trials done and the number of purple items obtained.
Today: 3 items = 0 purple.

Beside that may i know how to get item level 5? We high level already how to get it? every time i fight also drop the item around 33-35, i cant get the item to be base.

thats easy.. go to arena--> single player.. fight some low level arena.. like level 1 or something.. you will get lvl5 equipmnt

Do I have to have a "purple" or"orange" level 5 equipment to make an evolve?
Because a green level 5 + 4 purple higher levels = a green high level right?

guys.. this information is no longer valid.
The recent patch has changed this.

Therefore in the current patch the higher the base item level the higher the final result level.
Using lower base level items will drastically reduce what you can achieve in overall evolution.

PLEASE DO NOT USE LOWER LEVEL BASE ITEMS!
@Aquila: Maybe you should add a note in the opening post stating the same as this information is misleading now.!

if you evolve equipment which has angel bonus in it with other equipment does it increase the gs u may get when evolving?

angel bonus also increase your GS.
